Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition for PS4 Accidentally Revealed

It hasn’t been officially revealed by Sony yet, but it looks as if the popular Housemarque-developed shooter Dead Nation is coming to PlayStation 4.

Word comes by way of the Official PlayStation Blog of Asia (via NeoGAF), which lists Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition as one of PlayStation Plus’ free games starting on March 6th. It’s unclear what the Apocalypse Edition contains, or if it'll be a free PlayStation Plus offering in other territories.

Dead Nation originally came to PlayStation 3 in 2010, where it gained a sizable and dedicated fan base. It was developer Housemarque’s first game since Super Stardust HD, also a PS3 exclusive. It has since developed and released Outland, Super Stardust Delta, and Resogun.

We liked Dead Nation on PS3, and were excited when it was announced for Vita last year. It’s unknown if and when the Vita port is still coming.

We’ve reached out to Sony for comment, and will update if and when we hear back. In the meantime, clear your calendar, because it looks like Dead Nation’s PlayStation 4 release is imminent.
