Microsoft Investigating Xbox One Headset Adapter Issues

Earlier this month, Microsoft launched its stereo headset adapter for the Xbox One, which acts as the primary connection method for all of the new officially licensed headsets and offers backwards compatibility to last-generation audio products. However, a growing number of users have taken to headset manufacturer and Xbox forums to complain of low or distorted audio during chat with other players. Microsoft told IGN that it is aware of the issues some users are experiencing and is "actively" investigating a solution. We've reached out to Microsoft for more insight into the problem.

Turtle Beach — makers of the new XO Seven, XO Four, and EarForce Atlas headsets for the Xbox One — has received feedback from reviewers and consumers regarding similar problems and is working with Microsoft as it seeks to address the issues.

Do you own the Stereo Headset Adapter? If so, have you had any issues? Sound of in the comments below.
