Australian and NZ Titanfall players will be able to battle on servers far closer to home starting tomorrow.
“Aussie servers coming online, starting Friday morning and building capacity each day,” said Respawn chief Vince Zampella on Twitter. “Combined EA/Microsoft/Respawn effort to make it happen.”
The servers are located in Sydney, meaning local gamers will no longer be required to connect to servers as far away as Singapore and Japan.
“EA, Respawn and Microsoft are excited to share the news that Titanfall players based in Australia and New Zealand will be able to connect to Australian-based servers on all platforms,” said an EA Australia spokesperson. “We are confident this will give our Australian and New Zealand fans a great experience.”
Zampella hinted there was some imminent “good news” for antipodean gamers earlier this week.
