Grand Theft Auto V will soon be heading to PlayStation 4, if a Portuguese retailer is to be believed.
A listing on Worten claims that the game will be coming to Sony's platform, though stops short of giving a release date.
When contacted by Eurogamer.pt, the site responded with the following message (via Google Translate): "We have the information that Worten stores will sell the game in question."
What's especially interesting is the fact that a deposit is being asked for in order to confirm pre-orders. While this is far from conclusive, this could mean that the retailer is convinced it won't have to offer consumers refunds.
If Rockstar does announce GTA V for PS4, it'll come as a bit of a surprise as many assumed that PC will be the next platform to get the game. Grand Theft Auto V is currently only available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but rumours began swirling in October of 2013 that the game would come to PC. It was at that time that Intel’s Marketing Director Chris Silva predicted that GTA V was PC-bound. A few days later, an anonymous source seemed to confirm Silva’s inkling. A petition to bring GTA V to PC reached 600,000 signatures as of October 18, 2013. Since then, other online retail sites have appeared to out the game on the platform, though Rockstar has yet to officially confirm anything.
