EA's chief financial officer says that Battlefield 4's technical issues have not "damaged" the franchise.
"We haven't seen any damage," Blake Jorgensen said at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference in San Francisco, as reported by Gamespot.
He says that the game sold well upon release and continues to do so, due to the regular release of new content.
"We've also tried to provide extra content to the consumers to make sure they keep coming back and playing the game and we're finding that it's working very well," Jorgensen said. "I don't see that there's a damage issue."
EA has defended the rocky launch of its multiplayer shooter series many times. A number of issues are scheduled for fixing, including sprint-death and enemies not taking damage. EA has said that it will not work on future projects till Battlefield 4's issues have been sorted out.
Jorgensen said that such issues are due to Battlefield 4's "complexity," as well as the fact that DICE was working with new consoles like the Xbox One and PS4.
Battlefield 4's third expansion, Naval Strike, will be out later this month.
