BioWare is discussing the possibility of remastering the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One.
The news comes from the general manager of the developer's Edmonton and Montreal studios Aaryn Flynn, who revealed on Twitter that the topic had been brought up internally though nothing solid has been decided.

While a remastered re-release of the original Trilogy could still happen, it's unclear how long it would take to create, seeing as most of the studio is presumably hard at work on the upcoming next installment in the franchise.
While we have no idea about when that game will be released, we do know that we're due an update sometime this year. So far all we've had are a few teaser images, word that it'll apparently be fresh but recognisable, and may not relate to Shepard at all.
BioWare has said in the past that it doesn't want the game to be viewed as Mass Effect 4, as such a title does it a disservice. Whatever it ends up being called, our money's on new info coming our way at E3. Not long now, folks.
Last week we heard that Microsoft is also interested in the idea of creating a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Anniversary Edition, which BioWare would presumably have a hand in.
