505 Games and Rebellion have revealed those who pre-order Sniper Elite 3 will receive a bonus mission called “Hunt the Grey Wolf”, where players will have a shot at assassinating Adolf Hitler (again).
In the mission, Hitler (reportedly codenamed “Grey Wolf” by the Allies during WWII) and his double are in Tobruk, Libya in 1942. Players will need to infiltrate the occupied streets of Tobruk and ascertain the right target before making the final shot. With an “expansive open environment”, plus randomised target identities, journals and locations, 505 and Rebellion claim “no two playthroughs will be the same.”
2012's Sniper Elite V2 featured a similar pre-order incentive; players who pre-ordered Sniper Elite V2 were able to ice Hitler in a special mission called "Kill the Führer."
With Sniper Elite V2's Kill Cam highlighting vital organs within the body, the mission was noteworthy for its cheeky Easter egg if you shot Hitler beneath the belt.
